bhaane is committed to creating a dynamic, joyful and authentic world by being thoughtful, passionate and progressive.
bhaane has a traditional meaning - the rising sun, but in the context of our brand it has no meaning. What it stands for is the idea that the brand name doesn’t matter, what matters is how people see our product and how they perceive the brand which could differ from person to person.
"We stand for empowerment of the individual. We wanted to facilitate people's ability to share their own style and that is what led to the beginning of bhaane: providing people the tools - in our case, wearables - to express themselves more freely"
- Anand Ahuja , CEO/ Founder
bhaane is a fun, contemporary and relevant clothing brand which was founded in 2012 by Anand Ahuja, driven by the ideals of empowerment, individuality and universality. The emerging rise of people wanting to share their own thoughts and work in India was the main catalysts for the birth of bhaane
The signature style of bhaane’s designs is essentially global yet personal supported by superb quality. It is experimental and most of all it is always developing – a Work In Progress. We, as a brand hope to build and distribute a notion of unadulterated joy.
The product that we make doesn’t carry any logos. It is made in a way that encourages versatility. We want bhaane to be recognised not by its letters or by a symbol but by its aesthetic, it's quality and the overall emotion of our brand.
For us there is no remote experience that can replace a physical touch and feel. This belief drove us to open our first concept store in Meherchand Market, New Delhi accompanied by a cafe to give a complete bhaane experience to our customers.
We believe in not just selling clothes but to create a culture that revolves around individuality and voicing yourself; To be free of self doubt and express! This is also reflected in our bhaane live parties which we organise at our store regularly to bring people together and celebrate the feeling of being part of a bigger change.
"Do the stuff only you can do. The urge starting out is to copy, and thats not a bad thing. Most of us find our voices only after we sound like a lot of other people. But the one thing that you have that nobody else has is you: your voice, your mind, your story, your vision. So write and draw and build and play and dance and live as only you can. The moment that you feel that, just possibly, you’re walking down the street naked, exposing too much of your heart and your mind and what exists on the inside, showing too much of yourself, thats the moment you may be starting to get it right.”
- Neil Gaiman
So, Let’s come together and make this world a little better, one person at a time! #bhaanelove
